I dont advise everyone to try this because its pretty intense BUT for those of u who are crazy like me OR their overhead console is already broken then what the heck...I went ahead and customized my factory overhead console IN MY KING CAB to fit the Myron and Davis...I used a dremel which was the easiest way to do it...At first I used a jig saw but that was hard to get into places and finally got my hands on a dremel and VIOLA...works great...Havent installed a screen yet but had a screen to test fit and make sure it fits...Im selling the one I got because I bought it from a "Wenzel" on CT as a "MYRON AND DAVIS" and ended up being a stock OEM monitor. Its for sale on the buy/sell for under 300 bucks but cant wait till I save the 500-600 to get the actual MYRON AND DAVIS...
Here are pics to show u it fits and how I dremeled it to work...
On this one, I just need to shave the two lil brackets on the bottom a lil u see em...and it will fit prefectly. Right now it fits a lil tight because of this but since Im selling the monitor I dont wanna mess with it...
I have thought about attempting this many times. I am getting ready to add DVD playback to my D1 and had just about wrote off the overhead idea. My son always sits in the center so he can see the head unit thus no real need for the overhead. Although it would be nice.......
Nice work!!

ye, I got an in dash but just want a overhead to say I have one ..nah, I dont carry to many people with me in the back actually, never, but when I do itll be easier for them to watch also
I need to decide on a flip down or headrests... Headrests are cooler, but I have a spot for the flip down already, and I don't have to worry about the dogs slobbering a flip down
