Re: Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls
What about the wiring connections for the new audio controls? Are they built into the wheel and no new connections required?

The connection should be in all Titan's. They use the same shaft and wiring going up the column in all Titan's as far as I can tell. Altough in some trucks it may not be hooked to anything at the other side. If you have a 6 Disc, or RF it should just be plug and play.

Re: Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls
Yeah, i have an 06 SE with the 6 disc. So i just order the part, which comes with the cruise control section, even though i already have that, and install it in the wheel, plug and play, and im good to go?

XE preference package includes the overhead storage consol, and a 6 disc CD. It's not RF, but it's better than the single CD.

Well your going to have the right wiring harness up in the steering wheel. So you are going to be good on that side. I don't see why it wouldn't work with XE preffered.

Re: Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls
Every titan has cruise control. I have an XE with the single disk base non RF system.

Re: Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls
I saw someone over at CT added the controls to their XE with preffered package. Worked for them.

I may be wrong, but I think there are some Titan's without cruise. You can order the blank cover for that side of the steering wheel.
I thought I saw a King Cab with vinyl floors and roll'em up windows without cruise.

Re: Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls
I could very well have to eat my own words but...
I have the most base XE I know of. (I do have a 4x4) I had to add power windows, and locks myself. Is there anyone out there that doesnt have cruise or air?
