Hey did the pac swi work for you, i want to add steering wheel controls to my aftermarket pioneer dvd deck and i hope it works.

Yep I got the pac adapter installed the other day. I went ahead and got an installer to do it for me. He charged me $65 but could not get it programmed correctly. When I got home I had it programmed in about 10 minutes. It works pretty well with my Pioneer AVIC F700BT.

OMG! Easiest, coolest upgrade! Thanks for the great install overview. It took 45 mins and no steering puller needed. If you have the six-disc and no steering wheel controls, get them and install.. Great fun!

I have a few questions...

I have an 07 XE with the single cd player. (I bought it used and could not choose the options)

I have a problem with my cruise control (discussed in another thread) and it looks like my cc switch needs replacing.

If I order the cc switch with the audio control -

Will the switch work with my cruise control even if the radio controls will not work?

If I add the 6cd changer later (need the money) will it work with the audio control?

Will the backlit control work with my XE?

Does anyone know if there is a Mod for the NEW 08+ Steering Wheel Controls. I took mine in to get set-up and they said they couldn't do it because there is something different with the new ones and the PAC controls or PE Controls don't work with them yet. I have the an '08 Pro-4X steering wheel with the bluetooth controls. Has anyone had these problems or know anything about this?
