Re: Tire question?

I'd recommend the BFG AT too - haven't found anything with a better balance.

The Nitto's have gotten good reviews. Relatively quiet on road and decent grip - similar to other All Terrain tires - off road (based on what I've read). Consumer Reports rated them as the best all around AT tire that they tested - based on highway, rain and snow performance. The BFG AT was not in the test, however.

I'm in the market too - had Pirelli Scorpion ATs and then replaced those with BFG ATs when the Scorpions wore out on my Trooper and liked them alot. The BFGs had a better ride with less torque steer - and better snow traction - not to mention the longest tread life of any tire I've owned. Pretty sure I'll be getting another set of BFGs, but have been reading reviews trying to see if there's a comparable choice for less.
