my trik for door dings at work...

park as close as possible to the person on your pasenger side, don't leave any space for anyone to get in no matter how thin they are, this leaves a bigger gap on the other side.

Then tkae a pic with cellphone cam of plates of cars on each side of you.

If I come out to find a door ding you know who is goig to also have one the next day.

It would likely cost me more $$ to have all my door dings fixed than it would for me to trade the truck in, and it only has 15 thou miles on it.

My new Strategy seems o be working so far.

I hate having to ALWAYS park in compact while the smaller cars are parked in regular spots...Then again I'm lucky if I can even find a parking spot at work lately.

Never thought about nerf bars helping out w/ door dings. That alone may be enough reason to get them. I've looked at a lot of different bars, and think the Nasta w/ all SS seem the best, and are really affordable if you search. Glad to hear they aren't difficult to put on. Haven't done much stuff like this, but I'm fairly handy and hoped I could figure it out and save myself from wasting money for someone else to put them on. Will have to seriously think about getting them. Also, thanks for adding the pics - they look great on your King Cab. Cheers!

For bringing up a old thread I will add. I still love these bars. They are perfect and still look brand new.
