Got some step bars from my g/f for our 7 years together. My buddy helped me install. The brand is Nasta and she got them from T-Rex.
Install was easy, bars are SS and all brakets and hardware is SS as well. Very clean looking.
If you decide to get these make sure you have a 6" socket extension as were they bolt you will need it. TitanConvert21 was gunna help but after reading you have to remove the body bolt I was a weary and decided to go see my buddy at the dealer and make sure I wasn't gunna mess anything up.
Looks great!
I thought you would still be under there wrenchin' it!
yea I called my buddy and gave him a 20 pack. I didn't have a extension so I went to Nissan and borrowed one from a mechanic. Well what do you know "SNAP" then had to go to Kragen and buy a new one to replace
That's not chrome, it's bright annealed 304 stainless 16 ga. I have the same ones on mine too Yes, you better have a 1/2" ratchet with a 4" extension. Install took 1.3 hours by myself. I didn't put the big thick ss washer on top of the mounting box like the instruction said, instead I used the factory washer on top of the box and put the thick washer on the inside top of the box. The factory washer was bigger in diameter but about 30% thinner. I wanted the nerf bar as high as possible to the frame.

i think i did something similar with the washers, but not for the reason you did. The way the instructions showed wouldnt work, because the factory washer doesnt fit inside the mount channel. Its to wide to line up properly, so it HAS to go on the outside, and the new washer on the inside.
I'm thinking of swapping my OEMs out for chrome. Could you post a photo of the truck from a little further away (the whole enchalada)? I want to get a good idea of how it looks overall. Thanks!

Thanks D for the offer!
I went to the T-Rex site and I notice 2 different sets of the SS Nerf Bars; "Bully SS Bars" and "Nasta SS Bars." Any reason why you picked the Nasta? The Bully Bars retail for $299; they are on sale for $259. The Nasta retail for $295 and are on sale for $271.
