Heated Washer Fluid

Any one every try the Hot Shot heated windshild washer fluid system? I think it would be good for those early mourning frostey windshields. They say it also helps remove bugs and bird dropings by heating the fluid to 145 deg. F.

Also has anyone tried Lid Lights for there tool box? These are stick on lights that turn on when turned from horizontal to vertical.

I am thinking of buying these for my truck and would like some opinions or reviews.

Thanks

Re: Heated Washer Fluid

I know it isnt much, but I always thought shocking an ice cold window with hot water could lead to some nasty cracks. (Granted it is such a miniscule amount of water.)

I've seen people with heated fluid up here in Rochester and it works pretty well actually.

Re: Heated Washer Fluid

Yeah I thought the same about the heat and cold but, they gurantee this wont happen.

I saw the earlier post but really didn't get any opinions from it so I decided to try again.
