EXOTIC TRUCK--WARNING! THEY SELL ON EBAY. If you have a problem with a product, you're on hold forever! But, to return a product, you have to call them to get a "return" packing slip. If you try to call back after being on hold for 30 minutes, they don't even answer the phone, just put you on hold immediately. Buyer beware1

I bought from them back in Nov.05, Purchase a set of Vent Visor and a bug delector. Got the Bug Deflector 2 weeks later ( a little long for the shipping charge). Anyway after a month no vent visor, all calls to them goes un-answer and no emails ever get reply. Finally got through to them 2 months later and was able to get my vent visor. Funny thing was they left me a NEGATIVE feedback cause I left them a Neg. feedback. I paid within minutes of purchased.

I too have a "buyer beware" thread on them somewhere on this site.

That sucks bro!!!!

I got my K&N from them as they had a good price. they shipped pretty quickly and their price was like $40 cheaper than most most places. I Was missing a the breather hose luckily I had some heater hose available and just used that. *****ed at K&N and after like 4 emails they sent a couple of oil filters to me for my troubles. I didn't blame exotic truck because it was a sealed box but if it had been damaged in shipping or something that may have been another experience

What did you have a problem with?? Have you tried contacting the manufacturer.

So I had a good experience with them but then I din't have to send anything back.

I agree. My first purchase from exotic-auto was for a set of AVS in-channel rain visors, which arrived very quickly and I didn't have any problems.

Then, I went to order the AVS chrome bugshield for my Titan and never heard anything back from them for an entire month.

I called them numerous times (got hung up on most of the calls) and the couple of times that I did get through, I was either put on hold immediately or the person on the other end said they would re-ship the product.

After waiting 6 weeks, I launched a 'non-delivery' complaint with eBay and Paypal and finally got my money back. Then, they told me that the product was on backorder from the manufacturer. Very poor communication as I will never deal with these jerks again.

Zigs Auto out of Pennsylvania now has all of my truck accessory business. I think that their eBay ID is zigs-auto or zigsautomotive?

When I posted my "buyer beware" on another forum, a manger from Exotic- truck did see it. He pm me saying they just change phone system, bla bla bla and that he would see to it that I would be taken care of, at first I gave him credit for contacting me but it took a month after that for me to finally contact them and get my stuff. Seems to me they are under staff for the amount of stuffs they sell on Ebay.

Ya but you save a few buscks...

Most internet companies are not the most customer service friendly. Thats whay most manufactures do not sell to them directly. Sorry you had the problem, but the savings is not worth the trouble IMO.

Glad this thread is UP, I ordered a Stull grille from them over 3 weeks ago. No replies nothing.. Opened a paypal dispute and got my money back. TERRIBLE Ebay Seller!

This thread needs to stay up. When I finally got through to a guy on the phone--He said he was the owner. When I tried to explain that customers might get pissed if your customer service dept. just puts them on hold when they call in, WITHOUT actually answering the phone, he kept saying, "Are you done yet, are you done yet? Oh, you're not done..." A real smart-*** little worm. He's lucky I live 1500 miles away.

This peice of sh__ is selling big time on EBAY!

I bought and returned a tonneau cover with these ball bags. Thier customer service was nonexistant at the least. I called and asked about returning the cover, because of a manufacturing defect, and they just said to box it up with all of the paper work and send it back, no RMA# or authorization needed. I tracked the cover to thier location and let a couple days go by before calling for a status. The jerk on the phone asked who told me I could just send it back without permission. I could not remember and this lovely person would not even tell me his name when I asked. He told me that I should never do this without permission and a name. Did I say he would not identify himself? After a lot of tackful words I finally got my refund two weeks later. These people are scum. This associate told me that I should have returned the cover to the manufacturer and they would in turn contact the seller and then finally I would get a refund. I would rather spend more on the item and shipping rather than save a few bucks and roll the dice on customer service.

This is the case with most low margin sellers...

Low margins mean no money for customer service. If you get what you wanted and it works...great you saved a few bucks...

If you have problems with your order...well...that can be the most expensive few bucks you ever saved.

Ebay is making money cause they got 61K plus pos. feedback in past 12 months.
