Please Post a Pic of your "XE" model front grill modification

I would really appreciate it if some of you all would please post a pic of your custom grill that you've installed on your "XE" (or painted front bumper).

I would really like to install DunderDans famous chrome spider grill... but am worried about the contrast it could cause on my black XE. I'm even considering having him powdercoat it.

Anyways, I'm not ruling anything out and would really dig to see what some of y'all have done with your XE's.

Thanks,

Flim

You can go wrong with chrome on black.

Re: Please Post a Pic of your "XE" model front grill modification

This front end is just itching for a grill.

Maybe someone with Photoshop skillz can edit it (uh oh... this might be asking for trouble ).

Like I said... I'm thinking a chrome spider grill (with a black pearl emblem from Courtesy Nissan).

The chrome mirror covers are already en route from Courtesy.

This is the Grillcraft upper & lower inserts on my SE that I converted to the XE front end.

Here's a close up before I swapped bumpers.

Quikwhip,

How did you go about making the XE front bumper conversion? I have been wanting to do this since day one. I have always though the XE front end looks better than the rest of the models.

You basically have to replace all the front bumper parts. A month or so ago a women backed into my rear bumper, and while it was in the body shop getting fixed I had the front bumper replaced for just the cost of the bumper itself, $300. I know the owner of the shop and since he was painting already he didn't charge me any additional lasbor for the swap. You could also keep an eye open for someone with an XE that would be willing to swap parts with you for your chrome.

Thank you for taking the time to do that, glowinstrat!

Even though its a little blurry it still gives me an excellent idea of what it will look like. Sweet!

Thanks again!
