Re: PRG traction bars.....

Wish I could see a set in person. I've got all the facilities to make myself a set, but I just wanna scope out the layout up close. I'm guessing the location for the mount would vary depending upon whether there was a lift or not. Either that or you could just make longer bars. Guess I'll have to wait until after I do the lift.

If anyone out there in SoCal gets a set and needs a welder contact me and I'll do it for free - I just wanna check out the setup while I'm under there.

Re: PRG traction bars.....

These may be stupid questions but, do you need traction bars on a STOCK TITAN? Or is it more necessary to get them after a lift kit? Will they improve the ride handling of the Truck (STOCK or LIFTED). If so what kind of Differences will i notice? Also If im Planning on lifting the truck, should i wait to get them installed after the lift?

the first thing i noticed was, when i first punched the gas after install, the nose of the truck raised like a muscle car at a green light. it never did that stock.

Re: PRG traction bars.....

Well I go tmine one Sunday finally. I know I said was gonna take pics but I didn't. I lost power on Sunday when I had planned to do it and it didn't come back on till 2:30, and I had dinner plans for 5:00. So I didn't have the extra time to take detailed pics. Sorry. But on the plus side...... Just like everyone else claims, these things are awesome and worth every penny! I have zero vibrations or noises now that I had after the lift. It also launchs so much better. It just takes right off. No delay, or loose feeling in the rear anymore.

Hey Colorado, can take a pic a little farther back. Your brackets seem to be in a different spot than mine???? I don't know how that can be? I'll take a pic of mine tonight.

Edit: I know what the difference is..... It's the CC vs KC difference. My rear body mounts are mounted on the frame in a different spot than yours.

Yeah must be the KC vs the CC. How do you like them? Makes a big difference right?? I love them. But if you still want some pics, I can get some of them, or if anybody else wants some just let me know and I will get some.

Oh yeah.....Huge difference!

And nah, I don't need pics. Mine fit right between the brackets for the body mount. The CC mount is obviously back farther. It just looked different and caught my attention is all. Here's a couple pics of mine. And no making fun of my welds. It was my first time welding with the exception of a few practice scraps.

Re: PRG traction bars.....

The titan is a great candidate for traction bars, but in my opinion, that price is ridiculous.

Somebody has to make a reasonably priced set, like $200 or less, or if they dont, hopefully they will in the near future.

I thought the same as you at first. But have you actually seen these in person? Also, have you priced the competitions? Procomp, Fabtech, etc. Once you see them, and feel the difference they make, you will see that these are a reasonably priced set.
