PRG traction bars.....

Man I just want to say how great these things are. With the supercharger kicking in, my truck just squats and moves. I absolutly love these bars. Just wanted to recomend them to anybody who is thinking about getting them. They are definatly worth it.

Re: PRG traction bars.....

Agreed, I'm pleased with mine. I don't have the leaf spring shreading power you're swinging, or even as much as a BT equipped truck, but they do make a positive difference.

I got the street ones. I asked Greg about them before I ordered them, and he said the function the exact same, but OR have an extra bar for protection. If I was to hit the traction bar hard enough to bend it, I don't think the OR ones would make a difference.

I do have a little umph to the truck , but yeah like you said they will make a difference on the trucks. They are worth it for sure IMO..

Re: PRG traction bars.....

Are they bolt on or weld on? Actually if you wanted to snap some pics of the mounts that would be even better...but then you'd have dirty butt.

Re: PRG traction bars.....

I've been soo damn busy mine are still sitting in the garage instead of on my truck. Hopefully I'll get them on Sunday. And the brackets do need to be welded on. I'll get some install pics when I do mine.

Yep they are weld on. You have to weld the bracket onto the frame. It is really easy to install the bars, but I don't know how to weld so I had to take the brackets to an exhaust shop and have them welded on.

Re: PRG traction bars.....

did it help a lot with the wheel hop. It seems everytime I get on it the back end seems so light I cant get traction or keep it straight. I will be getting mine ordered here before to long and just wanted a little more input on it first. I plan to do the lowering kit too as long as they are compatible. I am going to see what this truck can do.

Re: PRG traction bars.....
