Has anyone tried to fit the armada stepsides on a titan??
I have an '07 crewcab and am looking for a cleaner look than the bars off the side.
I called the dealership today and they said they never had anyone try it but i could bring mine by and they can see if it'll fit. then they told me they would cost about $440 for the pair. thats a little too much i think!!
what do yall think??? would anyone else out there sell them for cheaper than they could be purchased from the dealer???
thanks for the help

I asked my dealership the same thing and was told no , it wouln't fit. I would like to see if it works too. I dont think 440 is to much.

It can be done.
Not sure how much fab was required for the actual step rails though.
i have seen that "QXT" and those are actually the infinity steprails that cost over $600 a set... i like the armada ones better, they are a little bigger... there was quite a bit of modding to make that all fit tho... i am looking for more of a "bolt on" application. thats y i think the armada should work seeing as its a "sister" to the titan.
Any idea where I can get the best price on the AMP Step Bars? I tried to get in contact with PreRunnerGreg but no response yet...
If I can get a nice deal on a pair I might be interested in forking out the dough. Maybe.
I just installed the Amp Research steps on my '05 KC. When shopping for prices, Greg informed me he was not selling them anymore. This may have changed recently, but my info is accurate as of May, '07. This is the link to Amp's website: http://www.ampresearch.net/build/powerstep/index.asp . If you look down the left side you will see the "where-to-buy" buttons.
Mine ran about $1300.00 including the new lamp kit. A little pricey compared to "fixed" steps, but there is no loss of ground clearance for you 4x4'ers (they actually tuckup higher than the frame rails; almost look like rocker panel protectors.
I'll post some pic's of the install soon.

Wow those look awesome! Are the mounting locations the same on the new 08's? If so I think I found the steps I want! Take some pictures when you get a chance!!
I posted a few pic's in the "Amp-research powersteps" thread in the "Titan pictures and Media Post" forum. Not quite sure how to set up a link to it here.
