lightbar advice

I'm thinking about having a custom lightbar set up on my titan.

I've found 2 of them so far but one seems too simple and the other too much so I'm thinking something in between w/ some smaller tubing. what do you guys think?

Re: lightbar advice

I like the ProComp as well, but good luck finding it. I've looked everywhere - 4wheelparts.com, the Procomp website, etc. The only one they have like that is for Fords and Chevys. Plus you have to drill holes in your bumpers. Don't wanna do that.

Which is the one in the second pic?

I liked this one, skidplate/light mount combo. I think I'll see if I can talk my buddy into helping me make one:

Re: lightbar advice

of the 2 pics, I like the second one, it's clean and serves it's purpose.....the Procomp bar looks better except for the whole cutting the bumper thing...a while back Procomp had one a their Titan that was similar to the bar in the 2nd pic....what's up with their bars, why aren't they selling them??

Re: lightbar advice

Robert,

I bought yesterday at the truckfest a pre-runner light bar from N-Fab it looks like the first pic, but without the part that drops down to protect the bottom bumper. I paid 265.00 4wheelparts said it will take about 2 weeks to get, it will go good with the steps I bought off you. They don't have a pic on their web site but they had it on a lap top they had with them.

Re: lightbar advice

i'm curious to see that. the n-fab in the pic seemed a lil too busy for me. and the bigger pic below was too simple.

I'm thinking about having one custom made so I'm thinking of a hybrid but $265 is a great price.

can you post the part# if you can?

thanks

Re: lightbar advice

Of the two picture you posted, I like the second one also (minus the dent in the bumper).

speaking of dents ...

First, thanks rcantu and others for putting me onto the randyellisdesign.com bar.

I was thinking about the lightbar idea because of this little present someone gave me in a parking lot before Christmas. Mostly damage to ego , especially when someone notices (how can you not notice on that expanse of chrome?) When I found out how much a replacement bumper cost I balked, then starting thinking about alternatives (like it's the first $400 toward a winch bumper, or a bull bar, or a light bar, or...)

So here's my question: do you think the setup in the 2nd picture would cover my dent, or just draw attention to it?
