Talking Bought the new SCANGAUGE II today

I bought the new Scangauge II today and it should be in Saturday. I'm looking at installing it in my over head console where I have a nice blank spot to put it. I'll post pics when I get it put in. So no one has to ask I bought it from http://www.pureenergysystems.com/store/ScanGauge/ @ $164.95 with Shipping. (That's cheaper than the actual scangauge website) I'll also let you all know how it works

just for grins...
Don't get me wrong hemi's are fast...but not fast as my Titan

Black 2004 CC, 20" (mock Harley wheels) TruFlo air filter, 12L7 sub with probox, harley davidson pinstriping along with interior harley orange accents, full face billet on grill, 4300k headlights, paint matched back bumper, and a led-foot :-D

Ordered mine last week from the same place.... I expect it will arrive some time next week.

I am going for an install that will be different than most. All the other "normal" spots are filled so this I think, will be a hard one...

Where are you planning on putting it or is it a "Top Secret" project?
With the smaller size of the SG2, it shouldn't be to hard to find a suitable location. Post pictures too when finish.

Re: Bought the new SCANGAUGE II today

I got my Scangauge 2 weeks ago. I have not made up my mind about installing it. The main thing I like about it, is that it reads codes and resets them. But I'm not impressed with the screen. I wish it had the same quality grafics as my laptop. I know, I'm asking too much. And all the info is nice, but you can't do anything with that info.

Well just wait till what the SG2 to USB have to offer, I'm waitng to see if it's worth it to upgrade to the SG2. Supposedly you can adjust timing and such.

Re: Bought the new SCANGAUGE II today

I think the only solution to get maxium performance, is to get the Stillen SC. Timing helps, but not enough.

Red face Re: Bought the new SCANGAUGE II today

got a question for anyone who knows the answer....

What is the best intake I can buy for gas mileage?

I've seen posts on how power is increased and such but no one talks about mileage.....I drive a ton a day and need the best gas mileage I can get.

Also if anyone knows of anything else I can do to get better gas mileage PLEASE let me know.

One last thing how do you get the little nissan emblems below your user name when you post? Just curious

Thanks guys. feel free to PM me and let me know

I don't know about milage gain, along with more HP comes more stomping on the gas pedal. The number of burgers comes with more post. Don't be like some who post non-sense jsut to get the burgers.

Re: Bought the new SCANGAUGE II today

My ScanGauge shipped Yesterday 6-13 ... Got the email yesterday. I ll let you know when it comes in.

As for the install I was thinking up high on the left next to the sun visor. I hope to be able to put this back in far enough to miss when flipping the visor down.

Ill post some picks when I am done.
