Funny Story about a Lazer Lite tonneau cover

I spoke with a customer who had heard of our tonneau covers from a friend.

It seems his friend was out hunting with his son and they were using our tonneau cover as some sort of a steadying platform while hunting.

The fella says to his his son, "Aim lower...".

Well, the son ends up shooting RIGHT INTO THE TONNEAU COVER ITSELF!

It put a hole in the top...but never went all the way through!

Apparently, the strengthening foam absorbed enough of the impact that it stopped the bullet from exiting the lower side of the tonneau cover.

Hmmm...

I wonder if I have an idea for a promotional video...?

"Well, if you don't like the cover itself, you can always use it as a bulletproof vest..." :>)

Hey LazerLite dude, I have a question....I'm in need of a bed cover for my KC, however, I have a toolbox that is higher than my siderails....and I couldn't live without my toolbox....what is your suggestion?

Mr. B, our cover sits fairly flush with the side rails, so it won't work with your truck. I think Access Cover makes a roll-up cover toolbox edition.

Wow! An up-armored bed cover. You guys are getting closer to becoming my bed cover of choice. Maybe a good place to hide when the lovely Mrs.rico387 gets mad at me.

Thanx Lazer. I do that anyway. Known the lovely Mrs.387 since 1978, in 10th grade. I Tell her I love her every day. If I didn't, I couldn't even hide behind one of your bed covers.
