Steering stops on Pro Comp Lift

I just installed my Pro Comp Stage 1 Lift and when i installed the steering stop support brackets they ended up being the same dimensions as the original steering stops. so does the worse turning radius come from the stops or just the fact of the front end being lifted? thanks in advance.

Re: Steering stops on Pro Comp Lift

i think i might have answered my own question by searching. you grind the stops that are on the knuckles(spindle) themselves instead of the stop on the lower a arm. sorry for not searching first.

Re: Steering stops on Pro Comp Lift

lol, Yup. You got it. The little metal piece is just for added support. To regain the turning radius you have to grind the stop on the spindle.
