Power added chip????

Hello everyone...

I am new to this Forum!! I had a quick question. I just bought a resistor off Ebay for the so called 20 hp increase.. I read into this, it seem that the you can add a 3400 ohm resistor accross certain pins on the MAS and trick the ECU into thinking its 60 degree's outside. Which in turn adjusts fuel/air accordingly. Has anyone tryed this method yet??? All info on this subject is greatly appreciated.

Run fast, Run very fast. Not one person on here would reccomend this mod to you. I will save the explaining to someone else. But let me warn you that if one of our "post whores" gets ahold of this then you will not be safe! No you are fine dont worry. But the resistor mod is not a mod. They just got you to spend money on a 18cent resistor from radioshack. But be prepaired for some of our members to not say in such a polite way.

I'll second that!!!! I know the feeling though, It sounded too good to be true when I first saw it on ebay. And it was.

I was cringing as I read the post. Just thinking about the responses that were sure to come. Oh, boy.

And don't feel bad. You didn't know. But a word of advice: Before purchasing anything esle for your Titan, do some researching here. And if you can't find what you're looking for, then feel free to ask.

No big deal I returned it. Six dollars isnt going to break the bank

I didnt think it was worth a crap. ALthought, it did make sense. I will read the forum posts about further mods I want to do

Right on man. Ya 6 bucks isnt going to do much damage. We are all helpfull and willing to give advice and opinions for anyone willing to listen. Let the modding begin!
