So my dealership promised me a navigation system back when I picked up my Titan in April. Well its now July and they still haven't found on that can be installed in my truck. I have a 2006 Titan LE Crew Cab, my only question is does anyone know of a Nav system that can be install (not stuck on my window), that will work with the automatic climate control panel and won't make me loss functionality of my steering wheel controls. Can anyone help me, please?
I believe the Clarion N.I.C.E. is a self contained unit and someone here mounted it in the Nav bezel for a factory look. The only thing is it won't be "integrated" with the audio system but still very useful.

Well after months and months of waiting they finally installed my Nav. And since I had to wait so long they upgraded me to a newer unit (no additional cost to me). I now have the Pioneer AVIC-Z1, and it kicks ***. Now if I could figure out away around the emergency brake thing all would me good.

try this link. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1592. If you have a july manufactured unit it could be either the bypass they sell or just grounding the two wires they show in the pictures on the site.
I have the july manufactured unit try the grounding method first. The picture in the link show what you'll neet to do but in short ground the ebrake and run a wire from the pin on the back wiring harness and ground also.
GSXR Bunnie, I'm in love. Not only does it sound like you like bikes (not to mention the best bikes) but you've also got a titan. Let's run away and get married.
Thanks guys for the help. When I get home tonight I will figure out when my unit was manufactured (you mean the pioneer, right?). And then find the time to sit down and read through the sites and try to get it done.
Now that I have this unit I'm already thinking about installing the XM Traffic, the bluetooth (when I get a new phone. I already have bluetooth, but I like the pioneer attachment better), and maybe the rear camera (for when I'm hauling. God this is worse than a drug, kinda reminds me of when I got my first tatoo.
yes...the manufacture date of the pioneer. Once you read the link you will see why the manufacture date is important. I also have the rear back up camera, xm traffic nav, and bluetooth. All of which i recommend. One suggestion, if you get the back up camera ensure who ever installs it runs the power supply for the camera to be switched with the ignition, not powered by the backup lights. (mine was) This will allow you to watch whats behind you at all times. not just when you are in reverse. Good luck....
For anyone interested, go take a look at the Garmin Nuvi 660, what an amazing GPS unit. Play with it for a few minutes and you'll want to buy one. Also, Garmin has the best customer service department that I've ever dealt with. My older unit had an issue and they were great in correcting it.
