Lightbulb Bushwacker flares and badges

Hi folks,

I am close to ordering fender flares for my 04, how do they attach? and are they removable once installed? Also as you know the 04's have a large badge just behind the front fenders, i like them there but it looks goofy in my opinion with the badge cutout. can i move the badge to the front door panels?

Thanks for reading this!!

John

Re: Bushwacker flares and badges

Which brand flares are you looking to get? The Bushwackers simply mount on using screws with included retainers that clip to the inside lip of the wheel well. The factory mud flap screws are also used to hold them on, and yes you can remove them. I'd assume other brands mount in a similar manner. The V8 badges can be relocated, just need some new mounting tape.

Re: Bushwacker flares and badges

Sammy,

Thanks for the reply and info. I am looking at the bushwackers. Another question comes to mind, are the badges held on with tape or are they attached with rivits?

Thanks again

John

They are held on with tape. It's some pretty strong stuff, so take your time and do it right. You might try a heat gun to soften up, or a day out in the sun might do the trick. If you do a search here you should find several topics on badge removal or "debadging."
