L.E.D. license plate lights

I replaced my license plate lights with WLED 6-LED bulbs. I ordered these from Superbrightleds, Inc., and they were $3.74 each.

Re: L.E.D. license plate lights

Those look pretty cool but they don't seem bright enough to illuminate the license plate. Is it just the pic or are you going "incognito"?

Re: L.E.D. license plate lights

Yea I agree the pic looks kind of dim, but then again leds usually shine much brighter in total darkness then in semi-lighted areas....it does look like a cool inexpensive mod.

Is it just a bulb replacement?

Thanks.
