Unhappy HID problems! Need help!

About three weeks ago I purchased and installed an HID kit for the fogs on my Titan. Early this morning I noticed that one of the fogs was not coming on. I checked the light and noticed that when I first turn them on the passenger side bulb flashes rapidly about 7 or 8 times and then turns off entirely. I disconnected all of the wires and after about ten minutes reconnected them to make sure that they were all tight but I get the same results. Does anyone have any ideas on what could cause this and how to fix it. I bought the kit NIB from a member that never got the chance to install them. I pm'd the original seller to see if the warranty is transferable and am waiting to hear back from him.

Yep,

Bet you 100 to 1 that the ballast took a dumpola, probably the ignitor section that gives the bulb a bump start at first so to speak. Do you have 2 ballasts or one? If two, then swap them around and see if the problem moves to the other lite...

Re: HID problems! Need help!

Both of you are right. I have two ballasts and swapped them around to find out that one of them does not work correctly. This is the "GT HID" kit, does anyone know where I can get one ballast?
