Volant ver. 3 installed

Took about an hour, part of that time was spent on looking for my sensor mount screw that i dropped. Got the intake as part of the group buy.
Install was a snap considering there were no real instruction, more like a parts list that was included. My hardest part of the dang install was figuring out where the insulating trim went.

Have not taken her out yet for a real road test, but initially i can tell one thing, its LOUD when your throttle butterfly opens up! Have to get used to that. Hopefully i will see some milage benefit, and hopefully feel the added power.... I do plan on an exhaust system soon so i can reap the full benefits.

The pad goes on the bottom but doesnt fit. I cut mine to fit and stuck it to the bottom of the box. As far as gas milage goes, dont count on it. But power! Oh yea. You will need to get the exhaust. And if you dont like loud better stay away from banks. Not that they arnt good, just that they are loud.

Re: Volant ver. 3 installed

the tube that goes from box to tb looks a little close to fan cover. You may want to check the clearance there. Mine had rubbed and was making a horrible sound. Just an observation from the pics.

Glad you enjoy
