I have had both and the spray in my opinion is far better because everything slides around in the drop in liner but I would not let that alone keep me from buying the truck.
Tell ya what, find someone with a drop in liner in a truck about a year old. Lift it up and take a look. Yhe damage to the paint in the bed will scare you . A good quality aftermarket Line-X or Rino liner is the way to go. If it's done before the bed is already damaged, there's almost no prep work and the liner application will be the better for it.
Cheers, Lee S.
GOT IT THIS MORNING! AND LOVE IT!
They knocked $300 off the total price so I can bring it to a liner company if I wish at my own time. And they left the drop in liner in.
They are also getting me chrome step rails at no charge installed.
They did good by my book!
If it's not what you want, don't take it. Don't let them pressure you into taking what you may not want, that's what they want you to do, as it makes their lives easier as they can sell you what they have in inventory. I've had a drop in bed liner in my last three trucks (TITAN included) with no problems, in fact I prefer them for hauling rock etc. as stuff slides out easier, and Nissan factory sprayed in liners don't have a great track record. If you don't need the utilitrack, don't get it. My .02 would be, that since they can't find what you want, have them throw in the drop in bed liner for free.
If not, walk.
You may be ready to buy your TITAN tomorrow, but it doesn't mean you have to. Slow down, and get exactly what you want

Yeah, I love the Titan, but you need to get exactly what you want. If your buying new it really shouldnt be that hard for them to find, or order the truck your looking for. I bought mine used and it took me almost 2 months to find the truck I wanted for the price I wanted to pay for it. Now granted, I had several colors I was looking for, but very specific coptions.
listen to wrenrj, if its not exactly what you wanted, take it back. Don't settle for less than what you wanted, you will forever look at the truck and say "damnit I should have got the ... " I did it all the time in my Dodge.

My issue with finding one was trying to get a 2WD SE KC with the limited slip and tow package. I did wind up with a plastic bed liner (but didn't really want utilitrack). I will probably be yanking it out in a year or so for a line-x spray on. I had line-x in my Dodge and was very pleased with their product.
