Remote start void warranty?

Stupid question I'm sure, but before I get it installed; a remote starter won't void the warranty will it?

I don't think it'd be an issue; but after reading through some threads, its hard to know what to think:

Re: Remote start void warranty?

To ansewer your question I got this from another post.
Quote:
The Magnuson-Moss warranty act states that a warranty can not be voided by a modification unless it is proven that the modifcation caused harm to the original product to cause a failure. But the thing is that the burdon of proof is on the dealer to prove that a intake, exhaust, performance chip mod, etc. caused a failure. It also states that the dealer is not repsonsible to warranty repair any item that has been replaced.
