Re: Headlights Bulds and Fog lights

Welcome to the boards LP. Congrats on the new Titan. Lots of us have done silverstar replacements for headlights and fogs. They aren't necessarily brighter, but are certainly whiter. The headlights are 9006 and 9005's, and the fogs are 893's I think. Easy to swap out. Enjoy your truck, and have a good time here too. And to add one more thing...headlight bulb swap was the first mod. It's now a sickness.

It may be easier to go down to your local auto supply store. They generally stock all the common bulbs in Silverstar for many applications. They're not very expensive and you won't have to pay shipping either.

Don't forget to pick up some floor mats, a tonneau cover, some step tubes, grille inserts, and some fuzzy dice!

It starts small. He'll get all that on his SECOND trip. Tonight. When he's driving around to check out those Silverstars.

Re: Headlights Bulds and Fog lights

I don't know xeonx, so I can't speak to them. I can say that I do really like my Silverstars though. I know that I'll replace them about once a year or so, but I'm ok with that.

Re: Headlights Bulds and Fog lights

I notice a lot more difference in my headlights than I do my fogs. Do the headlights first. Fogs last if you still want to spend that money, but there's not nearly as radical a difference in the fogs.
