Quick initial review: Tonneaumasters roll up cover.

Recieved my new tonneau today. Took about 20 mins. to install (like most of them) Looks pretty sharp, nice low profile and easy to use. The extra latches in the back to lock the cover down are nice and, combined with the lock in our tailgates, should give just a little extra security from the casual "parking lot looker".
Fit is good and the seals around the side and front of the bed look good. The rear looks like some water will get in because of the design of the cover and the funky shape of the Titans' tailgate. Looks like it'll drain right through , tho.
Overall looks like it'll do the job nicely and is sturdy enough to handle some snow weight.
Best thing, though, for $155 shipped, NIB, it's a bargain .
If anyone else is looking, the seller has more. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tonne...QQcmdZViewItem
Cheers, Lee S.

Sure, prolly not till tuesday, though. Headed out of town first thing in the morning .
On a side note, it rained pretty good here for a while today so I went out and dropped the bed to look for water. Two tiny puddles near the corners of the tailgate. I can live with that no problem .
Cheers, Lee S.

That's nice and low profile. It sure doesn't lap over the bedrails very much though. It almost looks borderline too narrow for the Titan. Do you think that's how the water's getting in?

Re: Quick initial review: Tonneaumasters roll up cover.

Yes, very low profile. The rails clamp right to the inside of the bed rail with a seal and lap inward about 1 1/2 inches each side. You lose none of the functional width of the bed (well, maybe inch total each side at the top). The only water getting in is at the corners by the tailgate and it's not much. Well worth the $150 for me
Cheers, Lee S.

Looks good, a guy at work has one of those on his HD Chevy, has had it a few years and still holding up although it flaps in the wind a bit but not bad.
