Ebay drilled and slotted rotors...bad or good??

Looking at some drilled and slotted rotors on ebay but I didn't know if anyone has bought any. Don't really feel like blowing some cheap POS rotors up on the 15 freeway going 80 but would really like to see if they help boost my 04's braking and get rid of my squeak or squeal, whatever. Opinions?? Thanks guys!

Anyone, Anyone. Really would be a good pick-up if they're worth the savings over someone I really do trust like stillen.

Re: Ebay drilled and slotted rotors...bad or good??

Slotted rotors are great. But I had drilled and slottted rotors on my mustang and cracks developed connecting the dots if you follow what I'm saying. SO I would say yes on slotted, NO on cross drilled.

Re: Ebay drilled and slotted rotors...bad or good??

Personally i would just go with blanks, my car has slotted rotors but they were casted into the rotors so I know they wont cause any problems, but i also had to pay $500 + for the set of rotors. I would never buy rotors cheap because stopping is too important.

You can always go one or the other, never both. My suggestion is if you get some, have them cryo'ed, them things will last for ever (seems like it). A mechanic for UPS put some cryo'd rotors on a p-10, lasted for 4 years now, never turned.
