I'd love to pick up a nice bull bar for my truck, but how in the heck can i do it and still mount a front license plate (Unfortunately i live in New York State where you must have a front and rear plate)? Thanks...

same here in CT, but ive never used front plates on my car/truck, and never gotten a ticket. depends on what risk u wanna take, but i think cops rarely pull u over for that.... so go for it!
yeah, i live in cali, and same dumb law. i dont have a front on mine and never gotten a ticket, nor has my bro with his car.
I still have my Temp. Registration that dealer puts on the windshield. I figure that it will fool the cops, as long as my truck still looks like new.

another good thing about not having a front plate on, is that it helps against cop's radar guns. ur truck will have less of a signal reflector to the radar gun.
Get a westin BB. It comes predrilled for the plate bracket, which you must of course order seperately.

Your kidding right??? The front end of our trucks are pretty big, i dont think a little license plate will matter at all

Heres a link for a bull bar that comes with a License Plate relocating bracket.
ARRG- cant post links till i have 15 posts, My Signature has the link for now.
I also live in New York and after i got the bull bar installed I didnt feel I needed to relocate the license plate. I will post some pics of the bull bar tomorrow when i get home from work around 3pm est.
Another thing to consider is if you want to install Off-Road or Driving lights. Most bull Bars i've seen are so tight fitting to the front grille of the truck you have to mount the lights to the outside of the bull bar. If you hit a branch (or a bull) the lights will be hit instead of the bull bar. With this bull bar from hunter you cant mount the lights behind it and they will stay protected from obstructions. I mounted Hella 500's behind mine and it looks sweeeeeet. I will post pics tomorrow.

The Bull Bar is made by Hunter, I got it off Ebay, if you search for Bull Bar Titan it will show a few different styles. The lights are Hella 500's. The headlights arent tinted, they are headlight covers i also got off ebay. They look great but unfortunately they suck at night driving down rural roads, but do the trick in the city under the streetlights. However they do go on and off very easy as they just snap on the truck, (have to open hood). Hope this helps ya.
