Grounding Kit Questions

I just bought a similar kit to the activetuning grounding kit and went to install it only to find out that i can only locate a couple of the grounds that I need to hook up. If anyone has done this mod please help me out and let me know where all the grounds are. Thanks!

On the other hand I had no problem installing my AEM clone intake...

Thumbs up Re: Grounding Kit Questions

I believe complete illustrated instructions are on the Active Tuning website. I printed them and placed in a notebook of all my Mods/Instructions/Dyno Results.

I used them and made my own Heavy Duty A/T Style kit with 2/0 Welding cable. Added 4 " to allow for heavier cable bend radius. It is a truck after all. Cost $35 vs $50-75 for 4 gauge cable. Better, I don't know, but it was more fun.

Re: Grounding Kit Questions

Cool, I looked at the site and I should be able to tackle it now. I got mine off ebay for 17 bucks or something plus shipping so it didn't cost me that much.

Re: Grounding Kit Questions

Jason - could you tell me what vendor you purchased from on ebay? Also, you still happy with your AEM clone? I'm seriously considering giving it a try as well. Thx.

I purchased it from proexhaust and so far it seems like it got rid of my ticking noise and it shifts smoother. As far as the AEM clone that went in quick and seems to have perked up the top end, now I'd like to get the timing advanced but all in all they're both really good products for the money.

Is this the kit you purchased? Did you just ditch the battery plate and use the cables like the Active Tuning Kit? Thanks again.

Re: Grounding Kit Questions

Yeah that's the kit. I used the plate and everything, just had to do some creative stuff with where to connect some of the wires.
