Different Alarm System?

Recently where I work there have been 5 break ins into cars in the last 6 weeks. This has been a constant problem but especially recently its gotten worse. We have no video surveilence over the lot and there is no hope for getting a guard or surveilence over it. I have an 06 LE with the dvd nav screen as well as a new 1700 dollar sub/amp set up in it, and often times i have to keep my very expensive video camera and tripod in the car because I have to use it right after work. There is no way I can moniter my car during the day, but I was wondering if there are any things that I can do to keep the people out. I was thinking about aftermarket alarms, but I dont know what exactly the benefits of these are. Also, with this I was thinking of 5% tint maybe to help keep them from being able to see whats inside but I dont want to have difficulty driving at night or have to deal with cops becasue of it. Any help of what the benefits of the aftermarket alarm system would be as well as a suggestion for what to get would be greatly appreciated.

as for the after market alarm they have come out with a new technology,i was at my local stereo store and saw an alarm that enables u to see is someone is tampering or breaking in ur truck,the alarm has a mini camera installed in u vehicle and on the remote it has small colored tv screen htat u can actually seeif someone is trying to mess with ur truck,can't remember what brand was it,but i kknow they go around $500.humm i think the brand name is SYTEC SECURITY ALARM U MIGHT WANNA ASK AROUND AT UR LOCAL STERE STORE.HOPE THAT HELPS,I HAVE THE SAME BRAND ALARM ON MT TITAN EXCEPT ITS NOT THE ONE WITH TV ON REMOTE.BUT IT WORKS PRETTY GOOD RANGE IS ABOUT 2MILES AND ON THE REMOTE IT WILL SHOW IF SOMEONE HITS THE WINDOW OR OPEN THE DOORS.

I am looking into this option also. So far, I just lock all my compartments and use the club(I know theives can bust thru these too) but they'll have to work for it so hopefully they would move onto the next car. Also, when I bring my camera bag or something expensive, I lock it in the side box which you'll have on the back of the truck cause you got an LE. Other than that, if they really want my truck, I guess I can only do so much to prevent that. My dealer told me that the trucks need the key with a chip in it to start it so not everyone can hotwire these cars. As far as breakins go, just make sure they can't see anything worth stealing.
I'm looking for an alarm with paging system set up. You may want to look at that option too. Let me know how you make out.
