After Market Keyless Entry

OK I'm a cheap basturd and did not want to pay the extra money for any convienences, so I bought the XE. But I really want a keyless entry and maybe a remote start. Is it even possible? Where can I get one?

Re: After Market Keyless Entry

I did the same thing. I hate that I can't open the passenger door w/out setting off the alarm.
There are lots of keyless entries on ebay, but I don't know the quality or where to get it programmed other than the dealer and they want to pay for their $20,000 programmer way too quick. $120.00 to do 1 key.

Re: After Market Keyless Entry

Most after market alarms will work, but you will need to add the door lock actuators. When you buy the actuators make sure they will work with the cable type door locks. There is a kit just for our trucks. This is who i bought mine from. they work great and are easy to install. I also added power windows. Heres a link for the locks...

Re: After Market Keyless Entry

I'm so use to having power everything that it's kinda hard to have to unlock the passenger door first (wife) before unlocking the driver door. It's ok, this is a truck and will be used as a work horse, not to drive around town for beauty.
