Tail light mods~Altezza's (don't be hatin')

ok, i know most of you don't like the chromed out altezza lights, but i have a silver titan & i'm wondering if anyone has ANY pics of a titan w/these chrome altezza lights installed? i like the look of them on Chevy's (that's about the only thing), i'm kinda blingin' out the truck a bit & i'm interested in seeing what this would look like before i go out & piss off the wife some more.

THANKS!

You still need pics? I have them on my Canteen SE CC. I will tell you the fit sucks. Had to use a rubber mallet to bend in the the metal so they would look like they fit flush and had to use silicone to seal the lens to the body of the taillights in order to keep the rain from filling up on the inside of the lens.

Re: Tail light mods~Altezza's (don't be hatin')

Most of the sellers on ebay say the lamps are DOT stamped. But they are NOT DOT (Department of Transportation) approved. Most also come from China or Taiwan.

Something to consider when the lamps deform/melt from bulb heat.

I've seen several threads on other forums where guys that bought those aftermarket lamps aren't happy with the fit and complain of heat deforming the outer plastic lenses.

Caveat Emptor

Im not really into those too much, but if we all liked the same thing we would be xerox's right? Just make sure you buy the best quality you can find. The cheaper ones seem to let moisture in and cloude up. just hang on to your stockers just in case. good luck!

sure dude, throw up some pics. also if you couuld include what brand the light is?

thanks for the input guys. i think i'm still kind of torn between the altezza look and the good ol' brush-guard chrome look. haven't really seen either in person. i'm thinkin the brush-guard would look silly without a mean brush-guard on the front of the truck.

then i think maybe i shouldn't add any more chrome cuz i really, REALLY want to get some black wheels to go with the bigger tires i'll get next yr.
decisions, decisions...
