Nismo supercharger

Was at the dealer yesterday,( getting tow light relays) and the parts manager and I were bsn. He told me Nismo will be coming out with a supercharger that puts out 100+hp sometime in march, april '07. Cost around 6 Gs. Anyone else heard about this?

Re: Nismo supercharger

yea we have been bull****ted enough for the past 3 yrs i'll believe it when it's out and on 10-15 trucks.. also aint no way i'm paying 6k for 100hp.. if they release it in thier 235hp glory that it was tested at hell yea i'll come up with 6k, but 100hp for 6k is retarded i got 90hp for less than a 1,000 on my nitrous, which is still by far the best power adder for the price..

Re: Nismo supercharger

425hp maybe on the crank but real numbers is probably 350-375hp range!!

maybe if it was offer as an option from factory in 2009 I would trade in my titan for a S/C nismo edition that would be nice

Re: Nismo supercharger

there is a local shop around dallas tx that put a stillen on a cc and if i can recall it did around 425 to 450 at the wheels. they ran it in the 1/8 mile. they spun the whole way down the track and still ran a 9.1 or 9.2. if they could of got it not to break loose they would of been well in to the 8s

Re: Nismo supercharger

if this nismo sc is offered by the dealer, i'm assuming everything will still be under warranty too. hmmm....that would be nice.

That was my thought as well. That does indeed add some value for the very steep 6k price tag. But still, 100 hp?

Yea but 148 rwhp only drops you .5 seconds in the 1/4?

If you can prove me wrong on that I would be interested in the product...but thats a lot of money to spend on that improvement.

Would you happen to know the name of the shop or the phone number? If I could get 425 to 450 at the WHEELS, I may give it a shot.

I was talking with a gentleman by the name of Ken Zapp (ex nismo dept head)a few weeks ago about it, and he said it will be coming out eventually, but it will not be CARB certified and will be a "R-Tune" product. Which means if it causes an engine failure warranty will be void. No warranty with the Nismo S/C.

Re: Nismo supercharger

Why's everyone wanting to race these trucks for? If you guys are into racing shouldn't you be buying sports cars? No flaming here, just wondering.
