What would be better N-Fab bonded chrome or Go Rhino Stainless Steel Nerfs?

What would be better N-Fab bonded chrome or Go Rhino Dominator II Stainless Steel Nerfs? I have narrowed my choices down to these two. I have heard that the N-Fab may fit better, but the finish is questionable in many cases and there is a long waiting period for them. I can't find anyone that has the Go Rhino Dominator II steps. I can get each of the for $475.

If the design is what you want and the price is comparable, I would suggest the SS (polished T-304?) over chrome anytime.

I have the black N-fabs, and they are doing fine despite what many have said about how the coating doesn't hold up. The one thing I didn't like too much about the "chrome" ones from them is that they didn't look shiny like chrome. They were just silver powdercoat and had sort of a dull finish. If shiny is more what you want, I'd stick with the stainless steel ones.

Re: What would be better N-Fab bonded chrome or Go Rhino Stainless Steel Nerfs?

I ordered my nerf steps from N-Fab as soon I saw them on the No Fear trucks. I spoke with Brandon at N-Fab, who claimed that I recieved what were the first set commercially available for the Titan. Here is my experience so far.

Several chips in the powdercoat when I recieved them. Missing hardware (not a big deal because its only 4 bolts and nuts, but that's besides the point).

Installed at 13k, now have 30k, and am seriously considering having them sandblasted and powdercoated to match the stock gunmetal 18 wheels I have. The powdercoating simply hasn't held up. I've touched up the rusted spots up twice with spray paint. This includes the undersides and leading edges of the step areas especially. I've also noted that they get marked up easy from entry/exit of the vehicle.

Needless to say, I'd go with the stainless.
