Unless you can find one at a junk yard. What happened, how do you know it's bad?

Is your friend a certified Nissan technician? If not, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about your MAF sensor being bad.

Are you getting a SES light? If so, run the self-diagnosis to get the code and we can try to help you. Check the FAQ & How-to forum to get the ECU reset/read code procedure

Re: MAF sensor went bad

At $210.94, I might try cleaning it.

Re: MAF sensor went bad

If the MAF is bad the car would obviousely idle really bad and not run right. It would also throw a CEL. I would get second opinion before replacing it. I would take to Checkers or Autozone or a parts store and have them pull the code or do it yourself if you have an OBDII scanner.
