I have also been wanting a nice roof rack for quite some time. I want to use it in combination with my hitch-mounted load extender (in the upright position) so that I can haul long ladders and construction materials without removing my tonneau cover. It is possible to order the Armada rack (very sharp looking) from any Nissan dealer. I have taken many measurements and all seems well, but the parts rep at my dealer won't say that it definitely will fit. Maybe there's an autobody specialist reading this forum who knows if this is posssible. For a photo of what can be achieved with this combination, visit ExtendATruck.com.
I did some research on the Frontier and found that when people added the OEM rack they had roof sag because the trucks that come with the rack have some reenforcement.
Might be something to consider here too. A.R.E. has a long to racks that extend over the roof. Not sure if you can do this if you have a truck cap though.
There was one gentlemen who put the armada front crossbar on his titan roof as an extension of the overhead rack system used in with the utilitrack, i wish i saved the picture. since i read that thread i've been looking at the armada roof thinking about doing something similar, i have a few longboards I haul around.
The problem I see with the fronty rack is that it's much too narrow for the titan and would have to be made a bit wider. I'm not sure if it could be as simple as replacing the cross bars or more complicated.
there was a guy with a fronty that wanted the utilitrack system and overhead racks, but they are too wide for his vehicle and not easily modified for width.
There are also offroad style roof racks if that would interest you.
As mentioned above, I can only assume the Titan roof is good for 400 lbs at the most, I'd have to research it more.
Call Nissan and order the roof rack feet, $50 total. this does not include the round bars.....you have to find a place that sells aluminum tubing and get it bent and welded. Yo can only use the rack for light things, or not at all for that matter. I am in the process of ordering it myself.

Are they the type the you have to drill into the cab to mount or do they snug up in the rain gutters?
roof racks look great i havent seen one on a titan yet if you get yours let us see it maybe in my future as well im working on getting a canback right now though
