Completely changes the look of the truck. Will work with 4" spindle lift. There aren't any actual suspension changes in this kit so ride remains the same. Works with factory struts and shocks. Nothing else is needed. From center of wheel to fender I gained 3" up front and 1.5" in the rear. Don't be surprised if the rear drivers side sits 0.5" lower than on the passenger. I believe that is because the gas tank weighs down the drivers side. Install time 5 hrs for one person. 2 hrs per side up front and 30 minutes per side for the rear. To included a few beers, time for pics, plus use of the factory jack because neither of my floor jacks were high enough. I did have to compress the front coils and rotate struts 45 degrees. I heard this step was unnecassary but don't see how to get around it. (Update. I guess you can just put the spring assembly in backwords without compressing the spring. I didn't figure this easy solution out and wasted time compressing.) Nuts on front sway bar are very tight. Suppose to be 17mm but is more like a 16.5mm. I used a hitch ball wrench over my box wrench for leverage to loosen. Everything else is a breeze. Stillen's leveling kit may save you 10 minutes of install time because the bolts are built in but does the same thing. This is a great kit and well worth the money. $249.00 front and rear shipped from http://www.prgproducts.com. Wonderful service and very knowledgable. Thanks again Greg! Here are some pictures for reference.
Also Why Tool 5hrs For Install,it Only Took Me 1hr For The Front 30min In Rear
What's up with the third degree. May have over shot on the time. I was in no rush. I am very meticulous and torqued each nut and bolt 2 or 3 extra times. Added time for beer, pictures and cleaning components. Wasted a lot of time compressing the springs with my POS import car spring compressors which I didn't need to do. Also had to use the factory jack because my floor jacks were not high enough. Read the initial thread on why I compressed the springs. It was just one of those brain fart days.
