Re: Silver Star Head lights*

I got the SS Ultras, about 50 bucks a set. Pricey if not on sale I love them, much whiter, bit better distance, truer color, advertised as being longer life then SS. That is a problem with some of the fancy lights. I'd highly recommend them, easy upgrade. A brand I trust and DOT legal.

Much better than stock. I have them in my Titan and I have PIAAs in our Mountaineer, and I can't tell any difference between the two.

Re: Silver Star Head lights*

I'll make it unanimous. Have them for highs, lows and fogs. I won't say they're a lot brighter (meaning for distance), but the color is FAR better. Easy mod, just be prepared to replace them more frequently.

Re: Silver Star Head lights*

I put them in my Hayabusa and were MUCH better than stock. I'm thinking 'bout them for my new '07 Titan. I'm not real happy with the factory low beams!

Re: Silver Star Head lights*

I have them for high & fog. They are good. I have HID for low. The only problem is the HID make everything else look yellow. The SS are much less yellow than stock, but still look yellow next to HID.

I like them too.......however i will wait till my factory ones blow because they are hotter and brighter and burn out alot quicker than oem's.

Re: Silver Star Head lights*

Much better than stock. I have had mine in for over a year so, I don't know if they blow out any faster than OEM's. A buddy of mine has the same and has had no problems.
