Re: Keystone Hood

Hmmmm.... Little too aggressive IMO. Not bad as far as fitting with the truck's lines, but a bit much for me. I still like the Glassworks hood.

Re: Keystone Hood

Is it functional? Does it direct air to the filter, or just into the engine bay?

Re: Keystone Hood

Looks great, but those wheels don't go with it.
Those wheels aren't agressive, they are too sissy looking.

According to Keystone, all their hoods are functional (air into engine bay), there's an optional kit to make it Ram Air (air to intake).

I'd say it's somewhat functional cuz the scoops are real and have a cutout but it doesn't lead the air to the airbox.

Re: Keystone Hood

At least it is functional. Having a non-functional hood is about the lamest thing possible. IMO. I have had a cowl hood on all of my trucks except this one. I can't find a functional one that I like.

www.carhoods.com has universal "Cowl" kits. They can be made to be functional.

Whether you are looking to draw more air into your engine, in need of clearance, or yearning for a cool new look, this 4.5 inch Dominator Cowl Induction fiberglass composite scoop is just what you've been looking for. The high quality finish is smooth, strong and ready for prep and paint.
The surface is Cormat reinforced, insuring it is both strong and straight. A smooth sandable type gellcoat is used for the finish so its a snap to prep for paint.
Order today and save 25% off of the manufacturer's list price of $199.00, that's a $50.00 savings. Plus get free shipping!
This hood scoops stock number is Scoop-F2 and weighs approximately 10.00 lbs.
Don't forget, fiberglass composite scoops are not susceptible to hail damage, they obviously do not rust and will not ding or dent like steel will. For more information on this scoop or any other product we carry, call us Monday thru Thursday 9am until 2pm at 1-352-468-1562.

Re: Keystone Hood

I wish someone would make a functional "cowl induction" hood for our trucks, like the ones on the old school camaro's. Just with the Titan's lines in mind.
