Front plate mount with bilet grill

Howdy all.

Just bought a 2006 with a billet grill. Being in Ca i need to put the plate in the front, I don't want to pay $25 for the ticket. Are there any kits I can use to attached the plate to the grill?

Thanks,

~TC

Tie wraps are cheap. Just make sure you use the white ones. The blacl ones would look kinda funny.

That was my first thought also but I was hoping to find some metal tabs or something.

Re: Front plate mount with bilet grill

Black Tie Wraps are UV Resistant, White Tie Wraps are not UV Resistant and wil rot off. That is main reason for the two colors, not aesthetics.

May be able to find a flipdown bracket to mount from underneath or fab an angle bracket to mount from below.

Re: Front plate mount with bilet grill

What about one of those big rig brackets that are hinged?

Re: Front plate mount with bilet grill

The bottom billet grille piece comes with two extra holes in the gaps...Use your factory mounting plastic thing and drill some holes at the very top corners. Then just get some long screws that you can put a nut onto and tighten it down. I think I have some pix..Hold on, and I'll post them.
