engine cover?

I was just wondering where people are gettin the colored engine covers from or if they are just painting them?

That is the first one I found, it sounds pretty basic though. Clean it, paint and then clear coat it.

The only one I've seen like this is RB'sTitan. I'm not sure if he has any pics up. He's got his off to show of that NOS setup he has.
