Re: Hi Lift jack

Mine is in my toolbox.
I agree...I wouldn't be ANYWHERE without mine!
I've actually used mine as a 'come-along' before, moved about a 1 1/2 ton rock out of the way...if I had moved my truck at all, it would have caved in my door!
Anyway, I would definitely suggest EVERYONE have one of these, you can tip your truck OVER if you need to in a pinch!

Re: Hi Lift jack

I've been thinking about getting a Hi Lift jack, but wondered how to jack up the truck w/ our front and rear bumpers. Especially the front, don't see anywhere to hook to to. Also worried it would bend the rear bumper.

Any suggestions or advice?

Re: Hi Lift jack

If your truck is stock, there really isn't a place in the front. For the rear, if you have a receiver hitch, you can stick the tongue in there. Don't use the rear bumper as you will bend it.

Your best be may be the Lift Mate attachment from High Lift which you'd use to lift from the wheel.

My truck has been modified with a winch mount in front that I can lift from and rock sliders on both sides allowing a lifting point all the way down the side of the truck.

Regards,

John

Wow John, you must be really tall to have snapped that shot!!!.

What kind of roof rack is that? Is it made specifically for the Titan? Looks like your sunroof is still functional also??

Do you have a custom bumper on the front that you lift from?

Re: Hi Lift jack

I was standing on a ladder.

Its a Defender roof rack. You can buy it from 4X4Parts.com. $600 or so if memory serves, plus the high lift and shovel/axe mounting brackets.

No custom bumper. I'm using the Mile Marker, winch mounth brush guard on the front. You can lift from that.

Regards,

John
