New guy here

Hey all, TT looks like a great community and hopefully i can learn a lot from you guys.

I'm new to the whole truck scene and i just purchased a 2004 Nissan Titan XE (King cab). I wanted to level the truck out and raise it maybe 3". I also wanted to install a new grill and tail lights as well. I don't know a whole lot about what needs to be done but i was hoping i could get some questions answered...

How much will it cost to level and raise my titan?
I'm not very mechanical but do you think i could install the grill and lights myself? How difficult can it be
What about a decent exhaust system? I know my truck is mean, but i want everyone else to hear how mean it is too

Thanks guys! Looking forward to learning from you all

Re: New guy here

welcomE! all pretty easy stuff to do. Check out PRG, they are a vendor on this site and are great to deal with.

Greg is da man when it comes to titan suspension.

Re: New guy here

Thanks guys

I went to a local muffler shop (san pedro muffler) and the guy there told me he'd install a flowmaster for me for $270. That a good deal? He also said he can install a 3" lift kit for 400 (200 for kit, 200 to do it). I dont know what to compare this to so can you guys tell me if I'd be getting ripped off?

This sounds kind of cheap. What exactly is he selling you for $200?

Oh yeah, welcome to TT!

Re: New guy here

Find out what kind of lift it is. If its just something simple like a leveling kit then he is trying to rip you off.
