A gas tank that whistles
Anyone have this issue? I am kind of giggling as I make this thread, but I swear I have this issue whenever I fill up with gas. It is actually kind of annoying. As the gas goes into the tank quicker the whistle while it is going in goes higher. Is this a defect or something?

Mine does it. Thats how I know how close to full its getting. I can tell by the sound. When the pump kicks off, you can hear it reverse too. Listen and you will see.

My Titan does it also, except on mine it gets quieter as the tank gets filled.

My last two did that. A handy feature when it is sub zero degrees outside. This enables you to sit in the cab and listen for the rising pitch of the whistle, telling you to get out as you are almost full.

mine just throws up on me lol. if I let it get so low that the fuel light comes on, it always spits gas back at me if I let it fill up full blast at the beginning.

Mine does it. I can usually however push in 2 gallons after the pump auto cuts off.. just a hint
I think i has to do with the vibration against the pipe. When it gets filled it changes tone. Weird
