Confused!

Hey guys, I was looking at aftermarket pipes for the beast. A lot are saying go with the banks because it is not a chambered system. my question is are trucks love back preasure and the banks system cuts down on 94% of the back preasure. This is puzzleing to me. How is the powerband on the banks? I have heard the sound clips on the here and love the sound but how is the power? I have a 07 is that helps.

Re: Confused!

While I don't have an exhaust on my truck, I think the zoomers system is impressive:

They have some cool sound/video clips on their site.

Re: Confused!

I have the Banks in conjunction with the AEM intake. Great combo IMO.

Re: Confused!

people say that they feel some low end torque loss but I haven't seen any dynos to prove it...
I don't worry about it...saving my lunch money (literally - saving $40/week instead of buying lunch) to mod out the truck and the AEM and Banks are #1 and #2 on the list

Re: Confused!

The banks is one bad-a** setup! Its LOUD and it sounds mean without being too obnoxious. Performance wise, i noticed a loss in low-end torque. After getting the 2*timing advance, and adding a tbs, ive gained most if not all of it back. To get the best performance, you should add a cai. More air in, more air out. The banks has definitly helpd out in the higher rpm's though, lots more power there!
