LE - try putting in a rear sway bar. it helps stabilize the rear end on hard turns. but thats not because of the rims. it is the stock suspension not being able to keep up with the ability of the lo pro tire's grip.
if i ever get my truck back i am looking into switching out the stock shocks & struts.
stillen makes those sway bars right? btw, wheres your truck?

Re: 22 inches?

yes i have the stillen rear sway bar.

also check out this thread. - the sloppiness is due in part to the stock shocks and struts - Rear Shocks

my truck... some old fart rana red light and hit the rear right rim - right on the end of the axle so my whole rear diff came loose at the leafs and shakles. The truck sat at GEICO's shop for two weeks without any work being done to it. I ask the manager at the GEICO shop about the rear end and how they are going to check it and the manager says they visually inspect it. ?? I asked which of their mechanics is nissan certified. none. I ask how many of these rear ends has he rebuilt? none. I asked him if he was aware of the seal problems. he says no. I tell him i think we have a problem here. later that day he calls me and tells me he would be more comfortable if i took the truck to the nissan dealer (my original request). I told him i appreciate his honesty and had it towed to nissan. the retard tow truck company shows up with a flat bed to move my truck with a locked up rear end to nissan. ?? flat bed - you can drag it up but you cant get it off because the truck will not roll. ?? the genius tow truck driver figures hell do the ol forward and back slam on the brakes to get it to slide out the back. well the moron on the last forward and back slams into the rear bumper and takes off without anyone seeing it happen. sneaky f'r except i had pictures of my truck before it left my house showing the bumper without a scratch nor dent. GEICO rep insists the truck was like that. I told him i had pics. he said i will speak to my manager. i go to nissan and do my CSI investigation. One of the service advisor's saw the tow truck guy doing the back and forth but did not see the hit happen. 2+2=4 the rust on my bumper was the dark orange type rust found on many tow trucks. DNA matches! so another week goes by. trying to figure out what happened to the bumper. aahhhh. anyways they finally have it all together painted and now nissan is checking the rear end to see if it was damaged. I should have my truck back towards the end of this week unless there are more complications with the rear diff.

Re: 22 inches?

right now the truck is in the hands of the nissan body shop guys. when they are done they will wheel it over to the nissan service techs. the service techs will then take the diff cover off and check the spider gears, axles etc etc. they will also do a wheel alignment and check the thurst angle etc etc. Another problem is nissan is not set up to align 24" rims so at some point they will take it over to the shop that installed them to do an alignment. ahhhh. sorry to hijack the thread. enjoy - http://www.sobegraphics.com/alex/titancrash040607/
