custom bed cover

I'm making my own bed cover out of strips of wood, similar to old style wood surf boards. It will slide into my bed rails so there will be no need to attach anything or drill anything. My Titan has the factory nerf bars on the top sides of the bed so I have no where to attach any bed cover I've seen that I like. If there is any interest in this, I could make it for others as well. I can do any graphics on it as well so let me know if there is any interest in this.

ill get some pics up of my custom cover. cost was about 200 bucks. not waterproof but almost and very secure. looks darn good too, i think.

I'd like to see some pics, I made one out of scraps of wood I had lying around because I needed one in a hurry. It worked well, so I figured why not make a nice one so that is what I'm working on now.

i made one for a dakota years ago.
plywood, tonaeu material, some padding, and angle iron.
Pretty easy and cheap and held up well.
I could stand on it.
