K-Cover / Advance Cover

The quarter-circle seals (post #7 K-Cover installation pics) keep falling off.

The first set fell off, so I assumed I installed them incorrectly. When the 2nd set arrived, I made sure to "super-clean" the plastic bed rail cover with denatured alcohol. The 2nd set just fell off after about a year.

I am ready to order the 3rd set, but before I do, I wanted to see if any of you are having the same problem. If so, what did you do to make sure the quarter-circle seals stay put?

Thanks,
David

Mine fell off too, where did you get replacement pieces from? I'm been trying to find some. Thanks

Call Advance directly at 1-877-723-8262 (Advance Cover). Ask for replacement quarter-circle seals. If I recall correctly, the are less than $15.

Cool thanks, I should get two sets since they fall off too easily.

Re: K-Cover / Advance Cover

I called technical support at Advance. I was given 2 options:

a) try an adhesive promoter

b) use a 1/2" self-tapping screw to attach the "quarter pie" seal to the bed liner

Option "b" is NO option for me, because I don't like putting screws into stuff like that.

I am going to try option "a". I found 3M Adhesion Promoter 2262AT. Now, I just need to find out where I can buy it.
