I got a great price on them from Bodean and the chrome mirror covers too, so off with the yucky pinstripes they put on it and on with the Nismo's.
Your pinstripes arent painted on are they?

No they are not, my truck was a bit diff than most on the lot, they added the putco bed chrome rails, they put 18" chrome LE wheels on it, the pinstripes, they also added the texas titan chrome step boards for it, those came off a while back, they are such thin guage and cheapo chrome on em. I am in the market for a set of stainless ones for it now. So it had a few dealer add ons, it is granite color and they put white dual pinstripes down the side and not at the fender contours, above that, never did like and they are off there Monday with the Nismo stripe kit going on it also, cept that hood thingy they put in the kit, that ain't happenin. In fact I am paring down the Nismo stripe kit itself, both side stripes, no hood stripe or nismo logo, won't do any good, got a bug winger on the front. Logo below on tailgate is all beside the side stripes.

Good for you my friend, it only took me twice to get them on straight so hopefully your guy will do better than I did. I'm not trying to make you nervous about it but in this day and age of semi qualified people doing everything from drywall to dancing with the stars, I wouldn't trust a rookie with these stripes because it's kind of tricky.

I agree, this is one of the most respected body shops in town, heck he's fixed my bro in laws Titan when he left the keys in it after work, didn't put it in park, went inside and heard boom LOL. Rolled into the neighbors house next door LOL. I still get a kick out of tellin that story for him, oh and they have worked on my sis's jeep. Good work there and painted a burgundy colored Taurus rear bumper cover my mom has. All their work has been top notch so far, as much work as we have given them in the last year, hoping for a family discount on mine (hehe). I am a nit picker when it comes to my truck, I will be out of town working again, in Melbourne this time Papa_D, you guys gonna be at the track this FRI/SAT? Try to get out there yet. So anyhow no one in my family will pick it up ........ they just know how I am about it, that guy does too after a 30 minute conversation last week over it.

Well that may have been, but from what I am hearing and Papa_D has one, that new Nismo exhaust is definitely making people stand up and take notice.

I had forgotten about it till just now but I think the Keychain comment might even have come from Thrust Titan who is now the happy owner of some Nismo headers, lol. I bought my stripes before I knew Bodean along with my air intake as well so I paid a premium for both, live and learn. I'm glad you found someone you can trust for body work, that's easier said than done and it's great to feel comfortable giving your baby to someone.

I am seriously considering going to the track this Friday if the weather holds and I just talked to my friend in the Tundra who said he thinks he will go. I haven't said anything to the rest of the guys because I never know what's in store for me at work although I think we will be slow this week.

Lol, it's not near as much fun smoking somebody when you like them. We have raced lots of times and I won all the NA races, he has beaten me but it took NOS to do it.

I will have to ask him if that was him next time I talk to him LOL. Hard tellin what he has on it now though, I think he changes stuff daily. True with the deals though, Bodean has done me right and I will continue to go back to him on stuff, the stripe kit alone was like 50% better deal than retail, no idea why but I ain't asking with a deal like that, he was surprised with it too. Chrome mirror covers I ordered from him, got a good deal there too, not even close to some of the others out there. Making my list of other stuff as I write this LOL. I don't remember, what time is the track thing on Friday nite?

Yeah, I need to call Tommy today just to chat and get the latest "Mad Scientist" updates, last I checked he was rigging his Titan with a worm drive for undersea travel, lol.

Isn't Bodean the best, he deals in volume and passes the savings along to us. Even if I could get something a few bucks cheaper on Fleabay I just won't do it because I know if I have an Issue with a part, Bodean will come through with a fix.

They open the gates at 6PM but I try and get there by 5pm so I can be sure and get in the front of the line so I can get onto the track without pushing the truck or heat soaking the engine.

The staging lanes close at 10 and you can get between 3 and 5 runs in on an average day. I have gotten as many as 8 but the motor has too much heat in it to run well without letting it cool off a little more than that.
