hid in stock housing

I am sure this has been answered tons of time. But do you need to get the hid wiring kit or will they just go right in.

thanks

Re: hid in stock housing

just make sure you get the 9006 bulb for your lows and 9005 bulb for your highs.

Re: hid in stock housing

the stock harness plugs right into the HID harness to ballast. then ballast to HID bulb (that is rebased to your headlight). Thats it.

On a side note, for ease of install, just pull back the front fender liner, ample room to put it where ever you want and still have good access to headlight.

Re: hid in stock housing

no it doesn't plug into it!

that's what the "kit" does. matches the bulbs and harnesses

raw HIDs are positive and negative wires.

you wire it yourself. unless you get a kit which does plug in if you get the right one.
